A settlement was reached in class proceedings which sought to recover fees allegedly charged by Mr. Payday in contravention of the Criminal Code. The claims period in that settlement has now expired.

When will I receive my money?

The refund cheques will be mailed on August 22, 2011.  Please wait at least 2 weeks after the above date for Canada Post to deliver your refund.  Our staff cannot provide any additional details as to the amount of your refund or the date the refund cheque will be mailed.  The refund cheques are not being mailed from our office.

I have moved. How do I update my address?

It is no longer possible to change your address as the refund database has been sent to a third party company for processing.  You will need to contact Canada Post in order to have your mail forwarded.

I just found out about the settlement. Can I still make a claim?

No, only claims that were submitted on or before March 13, 2011 can be accepted.
