• Statement of Claim

On April 20, 2005, Ross Marshall and Betty-Anne McRae filed a proposed class proceeding in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, which alleges that The Yellow Cash Center Inc., Consolidated Financial Corp., Intercapital Financial Corp. and Alex Taub, charged payday loan fees in contravention of theCriminal Code.  This action seeks the recovery of money these Defendants have collected in excess of the maximum rate permitted under the Criminal Codeon behalf of all persons resident in British Columbia whom borrowed a payday loan from these Defendants.
